I have a quesion, does anyone know if Central Mass. College's have an opening for Part Time Campus P.O? Any info would be helpfull.

WPI does in fact employ part-time LEO's. The requirement for part-time P.O. is that you have at least the Reserve Academy behind you. For full-time P.O. they require you to have gone through the S.S.P.O Academy. This is the info I was told by the Chief there when I inquired a few months back.

WPI is a pretty respectable college to work for also, the chief there is a good guy....again out of all of the colleges WPI would be in the top 3 to work for...pretty good pay and good detail rate also and plenty of them.

WPI is a solid campus department to work for. Yes you carry, no you do not have Chapter 90, yes there are details. FT officers must complete the Special State Academy at Hotel New Braintree within one year of starting. PT officers need the reserve academy as a minimum.
More unlocking dorm doors than anything, but you never know! Worcester can get rowdy sometimes...
