Reserve Intermittant Firearms Training

The current R/I Academies do not include firearms training.
Do you think students would be interested in Firearms training and MPTC Qualification if it was offered as an additional class for an additional fee, like is currently being done for CPR and First Responder ? ( Say $150 for a 16 hour program)

On that note, if one is to take such courses andthe fee is paid out of pocket would it be tax deductable?

Job training classes that you pay for are tax deductable. It's an educational expense.

when i went through last spring, we got the class and had the option of qaulifying with them as well.
