I have looked at the website for the Quinn Bill...My college ( Hudson Valley Community College, Troy NY) is not listed as an approved school...Yet. Last week I emailed all of the information regarding getting approved to the Criminal Justice Dept. Chair at HVCC and she said she would look into it.

My question is... Has anyone tried or heard of anyone trying to get an institution to apply to get on the list, whether accepted or not?

Part 2- Anyone out there graduated from HVCC with a CJ degree PM me... the more alumni contacting the dept. chair the better.

You may want to look over the Quinn Bill's website, it's possible your school's degree will never be accepted. It seems a school has to be New England Association of Schools and College (NEASC) accredited. And looking at the current list, there are no non-New England schools on there:
