There are less than 60 days left until the annual Isabella deBethencourt Memorial POSA Cops4Kids match, this year at the Harvard Sprotsmans Club in Harvard, MA, which is one of the nicest ranges in the area. All proceeds go to the Jummy Fund to help cure pediatric cancer. The registration deadline is September 1, so get your forms in now—there are still slots open.
This match is open to law enforcement, members of the competitive shooting communities, and to all safe shooters who want to participate in this fun event and raise money for the Jimmy Fund. This match uses photo-realistic targets with threat/no-threat paste-ons, thus emphasizing judgment. All stages are shot without being seen ahead of time, and each stage incorporates a non-shooting tactical element. Last year everyone had a lot of fun and got in some fun training, as well. Visit the match site, www.posacops4kids.com for all the details and forms.
And if you’d rather help than shoot, just contact Bruce Klinger at baklinger65@msn.com and he’ll put you to work!
