Any info on the S&W 40SVE?

Does anyone have any experience with the S&W 40SVE? I've seen it for around $270 and just wondered if anyone had any good solid info on it, whether it was a total piece of junk or not bad. I tried a forum search but came back with nothing.

Thanks for your answers.

I've got one. Excellent gun. Bought mine in 97. Have fired about 2,500 through it, not a single problem. Easy to handle, nice carry, fun and easy to shoot with.

They are not Glocks....................

But they aren't High Points either. The Sigma SW 40VE is an adequate weapon. I used to own one. Carry a Sigma 40E on duty right now.

You can buy a used one at Four Seasons Gun in Woburn for $225.00 every week,

Good luck

Sigman has been discontinued. If you can't buy a glock, it's ok as a replacement but it's not a great gun.

M&P is better.

I have one and I love it. I've put about 500 rounds through it in the 2 years I've had it and not a problem. The only problem I have is that I need to go shooting more.
