I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how long the civil service test is good for before you have to take it again. The department that i currently work for is not civil service. I did however take the exam back around 2002. Just wondering if I need to take it again if I were to try to get into a civil service department. Thank you any info would be appreciated thanks in advance.

You have to re-take it every two years. The last one was April '05, previous was April '03. So yes, you'd have to take it in April or so '07.

I would recomend moving to a civil service community as well.
