Does BPD authorize new "special" status to any more agencies aside from Longwood or Naratoone. I heard Boston only grants special status to private corps like Longwood etc and no longer to hospitals or schools. Is this right?

I would think that the hospitals and schools ( colleges and universities) would go SSPO instead of Boston Special.

YES!, YES!, Thank you wiggum. this popped up before in previous threads. There are a myriad of agencies that pay for their folks to be licenced under Rule 400. From Hotels and jewelry merchants to zoos and candy stores. The Colleges and hospitals are primarily SSPO and/or deputies.
