Which is the more secure/better duty holster. The Safariland 6280 with the hood or the 070 with the snaps.

Iam looking for a new holster and would like some input please.

Also any thoughts on the raptors?

Thanks

070 is pretty damn good!!

Both are respectable. Let me know what you decide on. E-mail me at mikejr@madisonpolicesupply.com and I can probably get you a better price than you'll find elsewhere.

My department switched to the Raptor. The draw is very similar to the 070, but reholstering is much quicker with the Raptor.

I use the 070 and it is real secure, I might have to try out the raptor

I have been using the Raptor level 3 6070 for about 3 years and would not use anything else. It takes some practice to get good with it but would never go back to any snap holster. It locks the weapon into level 2 automatically when you reholster so you don't have to worry about re snapping.
