Memorandum to Dealers: Tactical Two Stage (tm) Trigger Special
Dear Valued Dealer:
ArmaLite has created a special promotion to help you sell ArmaLite rifles this summer.
ArmaLite will provide a free Tactical Two Stage trigger group, a $145 value, to the retail purchasers of certain AR-10s and M15s sold between May 15 and the 15th of September.
Retail purchasers of ArmaLite AR-10 or M15 rifles built with standard, single stage triggers who have purchased their rifles since May 15 are eligible for the trigger exchange.
The ArmaLite Tactical Two Stage Trigger is smooth, stable, and flexible. It offers operators a much more sophisticated trigger than the safe but relatively coarser and heavy standard single stage trigger.
ArmaLite's new trigger may be installed as:
1. A tactical two stage trigger mechanism with a detectable second stage as desired by some police department officials (a trigger much like the 1903 Springfield Rifle),
2. A smooth, light weight "Pull Through" 2 stage match trigger or
3. A crisp National Match Trigger with a virtually undetectable movement of the second stage.
The trigger is readily set to ArmaLite's recommended 5 pound match rifle weight. (Although CMP and NRA rules allow a 4.5 pound minimum weight, it is very unwise to set a trigger to this weight at the factory. Normal break-in during use allows the trigger weight to drop slightly, and a competitor could fail to make weight before a match if starting with a minimum weight trigger.)
To receive their rifles, purchasers need only forward their Warranty Registration Card (if not already on file) to ArmaLite, a sales receipt as proof of purchase, $4 to cover shipping and insurance, and then return the single stage trigger removed from their rifle to ArmaLite after receiving their new trigger.
ArmaLite will confirm the customer's warranty (if on file), original installation of a single stage trigger, and forward free trigger mechanisms to each customer at no charge. Purchasers must allow 90 days for delivery. They will be provided installation instructions and a prepaid mailer with which to return the single stage hammer and trigger removed from their rifles after installation of the new trigger system.
The 90 day delivery period is dictated by the lead-time to receive triggers. It can't be shortened, and it doesn't allow us to send triggers to you for rifles on the shelves today. Extending the offer to retail customers who have purchased as far back as Mid-May will reduce the disappointment of recent purchasers who would otherwise feel left out of the program.
Status reports will be provided to our customers on the Internet at ArmaLite.com, and in response to postcard inquiries. Telephonic inquiries absolutely cannot be answered because of limited staffing.
ArmaLite will provide you simple self-adhesive tags to attach to all of your in-stock ArmaLite AR-10s and M15 rifles to inform your customers of the program. New rifles shipped from ArmaLite during this period will have the tags attached to the rifles and boxes.
To help you sell both rifles and trigger sets, ArmaLite will provide you a specially prepared demonstrator consisting of the trigger mechanism and the rear half of a lower receiver for a special price of $50.
Resale supplies of the trigger groups themselves are in short supply, so it would be a good idea to place an order early.
The new trigger is an outstanding device. I think it will really put a boost in your sales if aggressively promoted. Please contact ArmaLite for more information or to order labels and rifles.

I really love my Rock River, I don't think I'd buy a bushmaster if they were "buy one get one free"......
Speaking of which - what's the best quad rail SOT? Larue Tactical or what?
