I agree that is a "yawner" and I usually could give a rats ass about this stuff but this is interesting......Does anyone know if this is new? Ballistic doors on the CV's?

Yeah I think they were optional on the later model 06's.

They could have at least got rid of those awful gray wheel covers.. how much could that cost? Other than that, the CV does the job fine. I'd be curious to see the opinions on the Dodge's that are out there and how they compare.

Yeah those wheel covers suck compared to the chrome ones, but I always did like the little chrome hub caps that come standard when you dont order full wheel covers, for some reason I like them better especially all shined up. As far as Ford and Dodge I think the only major difference is the Hemi which only Troopers or Highway Patrol need, I drive a 06 CVPI and I think it has great pick up since they knocked it up to 250hp in 2005, and from what I hear the interior room sucks in the front seat of the charger for mounting computers like Data911 mdts which we use b/c the crown vic has the flat dash we just knock out the am/fm radio and put it under the cup holders and pop the monitor to the mdt in the am/fm radio spot.

Not CV but I just saw three black police Dodge Chargers on a truck going through Worcester. No graphics or anything but they were sweet looking!!

Who in the state has all black cruisers? I dont think theres to many of them.
