But I thought I would ask.....

Was wondering if I can get a background check on someone or at least shoplifting charges/locations.

As you probably know, I work L.P for a major grocery chain. Got some woman a couple months back for $500 in DVD's. Police found a lot of herion on her after the arrest.

On the 6th of this month she got me at my store for a bunch of meat (approx. $200) Plate on van came back stolen.

3 days later, a diffrent store (same Chain) for a lot of formula.

Last night she got me at my store again for a lot of formula (I was off.) I had the cops run the plate of this van and it was registered to her.

I have all her info.

Name
Address
Social
DL
Welfare ID
2 Vehicles last seen in etc....

If someone can help (which I doubt) let me know. Appreciate your time for reading this.

PM me if you can help

Are you nuts? Call your local PD and speak to their detecive bureau, don't ask for CORI information, it's illegal.

I'm no cop but I run CORI's and you actually have to have a reason, a sign off, and have to be "designated to do such" - and there are a WHOLE bunch of rules with regards to record retention etc.

You are on cig and meat patrol, don't got getting delusions of grandeur thinking you are LE. There is absolutely NO reason the produce police need this kind of info, more than likely even soliciting to get it is illegal.

Short version: Don't be an Super Stop and Shop whacker.

Isn't the standard practice to obtain a no tresspassing order against the person?

Sure she has a drug problem. Most criminals (shoplifters particularily) do. So what. You can't save the world. Write a decent report and forward it along to the local PD. That's about all you can do. If you continue to dig at this woman's background, you will run the risk of looking like a stalker. That will aggravate you even more, and the hamster wheel will begin to spin.

Personal advice: LET IT GO.

I sure hope that your right and that nobody does do this for you. You are asking us to break the law. This is a question that never should have been asked at all.
