How come all the people (usually young kids) out there with former/used police cars, decked out with amber or white lights say "I have this car because I want to be a cop someday". Do they think it will be easier to get hired if they have there own car?? This has to be one of the things that pisses me off the most out there.

Id tell them to add some wig wags and drive around town assisting DMV's if they really want to get noticed by the locals lol

Plainville used to have a guy like that in there town (not on the pd). A dark blue LTD (real nice looking) also had the orange rain jacket hanging in the back seat, the lolly pops in the rear window etc...

Don't forget having the blue line plate in the front instead of their registry issued tag, and all the windows plastered with FOP stickers. There's a couple of clowns like that where I work, and when they drive by you, they blow their horns and wave out the window, going out of their way to get you to see them.
