Don't know why I'm asking this, as there is no reasoning behind it....think of weird questions a lot.

Say you're pulling over someone and they are def, how do you deal with it? Write what you're saying? Find a fellow officer who knows sign language?

Im sure there is a few officers that know some def signs like these;


but you would have to ask around, to find out what the "def jam" sign is

Well, like Mos Def never went anywhere without his towel in that "Hitchhiker" movie, thus you should never go anywhere without your "Pocket Notebook" in case you run into a "def".
