Governor Mitt Romney has declared a State of Emergency in response to the heavy rains and floods. For flooding emergencies call 1-800-293-4031. All emergencies of a life-threatening nature should be reported to local 911 operators.

Over this Mother’s Day Weekend, the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency activated the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) in Framingham and the three MEMA Regional Offices in response to the prolonged rains that are expected to drench the region over the next few days.

“Many key members of the Massachusetts Emergency Management Team (MEMT), representing a variety of federal, state, local public, private and volunteer agencies and organizations, will assemble to provide resources, equipment, manpower and technical expertise to help local communities who may request assistance during and after this event,” stated MEMA Director Cristine McCombs.

How much you wanna bet CMPSA will be there......
