You get a check for $50000 from the association when you retire, that is right now, who knows what it will be in 25 years, very good PD, but different style of policing. Don't go in there with same attitude as you would in a larger city or middle class community.

Are they pro or re active, how large is the dept, are they up to date with there equipment and what they have for equipment, any special units and finally pay.
