LEXINGTON - A Fort Mill man who thought he was going on a date with a woman he met through an online dating site instead ended up arrested for more than $5,000 in unpaid court-ordered child support payments.
Lexington County authorities had been trying to find 31-year-old Brian Lee Todd for a year, Sheriff James Metts said in a news release.
Investigators learned last week that Mr. Todd had been logging on to an Internet dating site, and a female detective posing as a Fort Mill woman contacted him on the site and included her picture, Sheriff Metts said.
