What was up in Lawrence Yesterday???

(Click here to view the original thread on the MassCops Message Board)

I'm driving down 495 in Lawrence yesterday morning around 10:45 and there had to be 8-10 Lawrence cruisers and 6-8 State Police cruisers (2 of which were K9) flying up 469N lights and sirens.

I didnt see anything in the news last night or this morning...

What up?

The Lawrence guys were driving like they always do,the troopers...... they were going to make sure they got their photo op.

In all seriousness, there was a burglary yesterday morning where the homeowner came home while they were in the house. Some kind of search involved, I didn't get the whole article. That could have been what you saw them doing.

I heard there was a grand openning at a new Dunkin Donuts in town.

Cripes Bravo.. 10 Lawrence and 6-8 Staties cruisers (including 2-K9) for a burglary in progress??
I thought for sue there was a missing kid, or a standoff or something "juicy"...
That’s kind of a let down... I suppose its better safe than sorry...

Like I said I didn't get the whole article (something in the tribune but I didn't get the paper, and they have those damn plus edition articles on their site) but I guess there was some kind of search, and they did something to throw the units off their trail.
