Academy class size, frequency?

since self sponsoring is no longer available, and there are many that have F/T academy and no job and almost all job postings have F/T academy as a pre-req, is there a major(or minor) reduction in class size & frequency of f/t academies since they nixed self sponsoring?

since most towns hire F/T from their P/T, I assume that makes up the largest portion of a class.

any thoughts/inputs?

They just decided to stop self-sponsoring a couple months ago, I don't think a class has started since then, so I don't think you can judge the effect on class size yet. I think Weymouth is the next class to start up.

Plymouth starts on the 20th, Weymouth is starting on the 27th

i think its been a year at least since MPTC stopped accepting self-sponsors........and maybe longer for the R/I course. I will say that the 06-02 R/I class at Plymouth is HUGE.
