There are entirey too many people shooting at police, trying to run down police etc.
Now grated these stories are brought here and highlighted here becuase this is a policecentric website but I seem to notice more and more of these incidents.

What's also alrming in a way is many of these shootings seem to happen in states where gun control is pretty stiff. Odd.

It is because parents feel they have no responsibility in forming their child's moral compass. It is because common sense and personal accountability are frowned upon by society. It is because the judges forgot they are part of the criminial justice system; They are secular humanist who hate to hold anyone accountable. It is because of police administrators/managers who do not back up their men & women in uniform due to their fear of the agenda driven media and the judges who allow frivolous lawsuites.

The shit bag that shot the TPD Officer yesterday was out on probation for 2 other armed robberies! Well I hope who ever let him out sleeps well while an officer lays in the hospital. It's just sad.

Whom ever let him out (read: JUDGE) will not loose any sleep over this...like I said in a previous post: "...cops are like Doritos, they'll just make more...". Do not expect the general populace to be concerned about the well being of cops: they are only as concerned about the well being of cops as it affects them directly...other than that, they could care less.

It would seem that the vocal minority of the public only cares about police when we "step in it" and they can say that we are all bad. People just love it when they think we did something wrong. The silent majority are behind us but they are just that, silent.

SOII is correct. While overall crime is down nationwide, attacks on police nationwide seem to be way up. Be safe out there!
