(Which wear Different Uniforms) and from what I can see the US Park Police are geared more towards pure LE. The Protection Rangers seem to be more Security and park ranger like, with the powers of arrest.
Both the US Park Rangers and US Park Police are bonafide LEOs. Except that the Park Police seem to be mostly based around the DC area and San Fransisco (Alcatraz, Gateway, etc.) and NYC. |
