Bizarre Twist for Holyoke Police
HOLYOKE, MA(abc40)--It's a bizarre twist to police work. Four men have the cops working to protect the bad guys. They have a website under the name us fugitive task force. They claim to have vast experience in law enforcement and tracking down fugitives or people on bail who run. But unnamed sources tell abc 40 the four men were not helping bail bondsmen, they were helping themselves to drug dealers' money. On Friday Matt Drost, Gary Parrott, Matt Hebert and Ron Lane were arrested.
Our sources say the four men would approach drug dealers, flash badges, and then force the dealers to hand over their money and possibly drugs. One of the spots where the alleged robberies took place was on Dwight Street extension in Springfield's South End. This blighted building is a haven for drug dealers who are there twenty four hours a day. There are also reports of similar robberies of drug dealers in several other western Mass cities and towns and men bursting into homes claiming to have search warrants. The four men were arrested by Holyoke police officers and state police detectives. On their website the four men boast of training received from state police, but there is no such training for bounty hunters offered by the state police academy.
They list the address of their company in West Springfield but we were unable to locate a phone number or an address. A news conference will be held on Tuesday and the four men will be arraigned on the charges.

I couldn't help notice the resemblence to their emblem with the U.S. Marshal's Service badge.

I say they just throw the idiots back on the street's where they where stealing from, I am sure there are a few dealers that would like to talk to them. I know they stole from criminals (don't feel bad one bit about that), but they made themselves look like cops when they where doing it. I am a firm believer in "street justice". I hope these sh**bags get it good in the courts and on the street. I wonder if all that LE experience will help them in prison?

I believe these were the same guys hitting the I-91 rest areas in Holyoke at the wee hours of the morning. They were rounding up these motorists who frequent the rest areas, saying they were the police and threatening to "out" them in the papers if they didn't give up their money.

Sounds like they had a nice little operation going for themselves with no one to complain about it (Bad Guys).

..1 Year Massachusetts State Police Training
WTF is that supposed to mean????

Quote:
All of our Agents have formal investigative training provied by the Military and Non-Military tranining facilities.
Agents; I love that. I'd love to know what these 4 nitwits had for training.
3 have "Bouncer" listed as prior occupations, and 1 listed "1-Year with the US Army".
Sounds like a "questionable" discharge if he only served 1-year.

Stellar resumes...Looks like "Grimey" outwitted them though..And you always have to have a guy with no last name and a guy with a catchy nickname like "Joker"...I would like to know what the 1 yr of MSP training was also...They obviously flunked out of the military..And WTF is the Amherst school of whatever the F it was...Is this for real?...God help us.

Posted by: kwflatbed

This is the only listing for anything to do with Amherest Investigations.

These idiots even went to all the trouble of super imposing there "badges" on real SWAT pictures. I know some of the troopers on here must love that those sh**bags put 1 year with MSP, I think they should be charged with as much crap as can be racked up on them. You know the sad thing is that some people do not have enough common sense to know that these a**holes are FAKES, kind of makes you wonder.... I see these guys also had good military careers.

What a bunch of f*cktards."1 year with USMC" and "1 year Massachusetts State Police training".You gotta be sh*tting me! We have alot of "Bail Enforcement Agents" and "Bounty Hunters" here in Las Vegas as you can imagine. Some are legit many are a real liability.
Just last week there was a shooting between some bounty hunters and a fugitive. The fugitive got shot and when our officers arrived on scene one of the bounty hunters had warrants. He ended being arrested. There needs to be more government control over what these clowns can do/can't do.

Trio Arraigned Monday for Police Officer Impersonation
HOLYOKE, MASSACHSUETTS (WWLP) - Three men were arraigned Monday in Holyoke on robbery and other charges. Police say they posed as law enforcers to shake-down victims in Springfield, Holyoke and possibly other communities. At Holyoke Police Headquarters representatives of the Holyoke, Springfield and State Police and the District Attorney's Office showed the black uniforms and weapons they say the men were wearing on their exploits. The guns were b. b. guns, but the knives and other weapons were real. The three men arrested were 22-year old Matthew Drost of Ludlow, 20-year old Matthew Hebert of Chicopee, and 20-year old Christopher Bryden of Springfield. Police say they most recently struck a driver at an I-91 rest stop, and a victim in the flats of Holyoke. D.A. William Bennett says, "What they've been doing is dangerous. Not only to the victims of their crimes, but to police officers because people get the wrong impression as to who the lawful police officers are. None of these people were operating under any law enforcement authority, and everything they've been doing has been criminal in nature." Holyoke Police Chief Anthony Scott says, "How they're endangering cops is if word goes around that police officers are ripping you off, these drug dealers out on the street the next time they're approached by a cop are going to shoot first and ask questions later so that's endangering lives of police officers." Police say their investigation is continuing, and may involve other suspects. They say one of the men may have worked as a bounty hunter, but say these crimes have nothing to do with legitimate bounty hunting.

Thank God they are not legit in Massachusetts. Just what the Holyoke cops need, another reason to get killed. Chief Scott hit the nail on the head. This guy sounds like a cop's cop.

phuzz01,

I know the MSP has no course for this and I know these sh**heads where not trained by anyone but the criminal's that probably did it before them. I was only saying I am sure they don't want there name brought into it because the general public has no idea about real life and believes everything they read in papers like the Boston Herald and Boston Globe.

Look at the similarities in the number of training 1 year this, 1 year that. Seems like someone got bored during class (If they even went to class). They probably think they can "sign up" for the one year of MSP training like you can for a job at Mcdonalds.

"The U.S Fugitive taskforce was found in the fall of 2000 and is located in West Springfield, Massachusetts. We are a small company that specializes in Bail Fugitive Investigations and Immigration Investigations. All of our Agents have formal investigative training provied by the Military and Non-Military tranining facilities ."

Founded when?

Where can I sign up for their trainining academy? Infront of the Cheese Factory in Westside? (West Springfield).

All jokes asside, these guys really messed up and are probably going in their pants right now. Wackers really need support groups big time. I still fail to see how it is cool to drive around in an ex worn out Crown Vic. if your not a Fire Chief, Police Officer or even a municipal employee, unless your a taxi driver.

Go to the link and take a look at all the crap these whackjobs were carrying. The guns were supposedly only BB guns but if those whackjobs pointed one of those BB guns at me they would have gotten shot. I hope the asswads get whats coming to them.
