Alright, I am a mass resident, and have gotten two speeding tickets in RI. If I get another in RI do I lose my license in mass? If I get a ticket in MA do I lose my license in either state? How does this all work? I plan on going to court for the second ticket I receiver today, it was issued by a RI trooper. He got on my bummer and keep putting pressure on me until I speed up to move to the next lane. Then he pulled me over, and gave me a speeding ticket and a ticket for having my license plated covered in snow. Any help would be great thanks?

entrapment!!!

what about the laws on tickets

Depends. None of my RI tickets are on my Mass record. Im not sure if Mass reports back to RI.

And if you really think he didnt already get you speeding before you saw him on your @$$, and he really cited you for speeding when he was tailgaiting you, you're on some fun stuff Ide like to try.... RI isnt like Mass, there's a diff attitude among those troopers there.

That's right! Because if you didn't see the Officer or he didn't have his marker (yellow) lights on, it was entrapment.

I would say use the good driving statute but it looks like that is a "no go." Here is a suggestion, "instead of speeding up and trying to race the nice trooper why not just pull to the right." lol
I would say good bye license for 30 days unless the registry doesn't put the three violations together and suspend your license. The DMV in RI is worse than any DMV in MASS!!

can they suspend your licence for for two tickets and having snow on your licence plate?

I will defend you The Jeff, It was obvious that you were a victim of entrapment! I know that bad RI Trooper made you speed. If it was not for the Trooper riding up your ass you would have never have committed that violation! As your attorney next time this happens jam on your brakes and let the trooper hit you. I know a great personal injury lawyer!!!!

A lot worse, lol!!! I would enjoy sitting at the Mass registry compared to RI. The only thing that saves u, if you are a member of AAA. You can conduct all your business there, just like the registry.
