its easier to sign up to take this test than the CS test. I got an email for my test on march 16

Its also 10 times harder. The ability to learn a foreign language portion is a killer.
there were only five other people in my test that was taken in Fall River years ago, one guy actually stood up and left saying that it was to hard and that it wasnt worth it. ouch!!!

I saw this and considered it for a second at first, and now I am a bit more interested. I am nearly fluent in Spanish and can speak conversationally in several other languages, so I was wondering if that might give me an edge over other candidates. The pay is certainly not bad for getting one's foot in the Federal door....

This is not an entry level position. It is the director of the port of entry. The person selected with be a CBP officer from another port.
