I saw Boxborough has another opening for dispatchers. Anyone have any info about the department as far as pay and morale? Do they promote any dispatchers to police officers seeing that its a non civil service town?? I did a search but could not find any specific info about the department. Any input would be appreciated.

Morale for PD is a bit shaky but decent guys. Dispatch is ok. The remaining dispatchers are pretty good.
Dispatchers have been known to be hired PT and even full time if they have the academy. One was just hired FT police.
Pay is decent. Currently in contract negotiations.
