| 2 local men injured in 495 crash By Michael Sereda / Daily News Staff Saturday, February 25, 2006 Marc W. Gildersleeve, 22, of Milford, and Kevin C. David, 24, of Bellingham, were taken by ambulance to UMass Medical Center in Worcester following the 7:04 p.m. crash, according to Trooper Kara England. Their conditions were not immediately available last night, but David was apparently not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car, she said. According to England, Gildersleeve was traveling south in a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer when it hit a rock wall in the median. The impact tore the car apart and propelled the engine across the highway where it hit a 2002 Mazda Protege driven by Candice J. Silva, 25, of Southbridge. Silva’s heavily damaged car was towed but she was uninjured, England said. State police are still investigating, but speed appears to be a factor in the crash, she said. Traffic was slowed as police closed the left travel lane for about an hour. By 8 p.m., the road was clear, England said. |
Stupidity would appear to be a bigger factor. |

I don't recall any Mitsubishis at Lemans...I think their last big win was at Pearl Harbor... It could be true that Mitsubishi makes a pretty good car...too bad nobody will buy them. Mitsubishi...the "Crosley" of Japan! Don't worry, though, I reckon they can retool the lines at their Normal, IL, plant to produce refrigerators, televisions...and canned tuna. That way american workers can earn some sort of living. Have no fear...you'll be able to purchase your next EVO...through your local Corgi dealer. |

| SKILMATIC On the contrary the EVO 9 stock puts down low 12's consistently with no problem. The evo 9 has a top speed of around 170-175 stock. 0-60ft times in around 1.7-1.9sec. Your right you wouldnt keep up buddy. And the zero at the time was far better than the Thunderbolts. Actually the only plane that could out do the zero wasnt until the good ole boys came up with the Mustang. That plane kicked a$ in every shape and form. Too bad the car sucks. |

For future information, the Spell Check button is located beneath the smiley icons, on the page you type your reply on ( just a suggestion ). CONGRATULATIONS!! I've been on many ride-alongs, and to actually learn about the job, not to screw around with a buddy, does that make me important and a reliable source of information? I think not. |

It does have better lateral road holding, 0.97-0.99, than my Caddy (0.92). But remember, the EVO is all-wheel-drive and turbo charged. The Caddy is just a V8 and rear wheel drive, with a better F-R weight ratio. And for the record, by the end of the war, the Zero was out performed by not only the P-51 Mustang, but the F-4 Corsair and the P-47 Lightning. As I recall, the home islands were bombed back into the stone age. Thank the soviets that you have a ricer to drive, because except for the 'cold war', Japan would be a third world country. Now, if you have the latest stock version of the EVO, I'll shut up (until I find the stats on the VIX As far as your 0-60 times of 1.7-1.9 seconds...please. That acceleration factor or rate is untenable. It would require a factor of 1.6058...or a rate of 51.7067 feet/sec/sec. Unlikely to happen in Newton's universe. |

| Hey guys lets all register for the forum and post whore itup about how much japanese cars eat their dodge hemis all day hahahahaha. I remember racing c5 vett I ended up sending it home all day after beating him by an entire second. |
| Hey I just posted another post against one of the mods. The mod there posted this "I would rather walk then drive a japanese car. " |
| Yeah I am trying to educate these idiots. Its hard when they are a bunch of retards. |
| Come on man, you are trying to instegate a silly argument and you are coming off as a juvenile. If you wanted to "educate those idiots"... don't tell them that our evo's have a top speed of 175 mph. They are fast but not that fast stock. I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't try to start an argument over on a cop forum. You are doing more harm than good even if it's a silly little cop talk forum. You might as well stand at a street corner and wait on some Evo's with some huge stickers in hand that say "HEY COP, MY CAR WILL OUTRUN YOU PIECE OF CRAP, TEE HEE HEEE" while you yourself are jumping up and down and laughing with all kinds of excitement. Come on my man, settle down. There's no sense in starting a silly argument with a bunch of cop wannabe's and actual cops. I feel a little embarrassed that I read that thread. |
| Yeah, that idiot who said that 12.1 stock time came from our forum. |

Give it up SKILMATIC, you're time here is not only useless but pathetic. I honestly pity you if you have nothing better to do with your time than to start these idiotic fights on message boards. Once again, let's all put an end to this and stop replying, we're only fueling the fire. |

Go home and play with your American-made Saturn, we have grownup things to do around here. You lose, Roger. Don't let the door kick you in the ass on the way out. You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have most assuredly been found wanting. |

A matter of fact I offered a guy who had a somehwat modded evo to race for slips and I woudl give him a car length and he backed down. However, I do own a coupel of supras but never joined any supra site. That is someone else. Amatter of fact if you were also intelligent you would have checked some saturn forums as well. However, someone already used my name on some saturn forums which is why I had to create another name which is turbojuiced96sc2 which is on saturnmotorsports.com. A matter of fact if you want to check me out on every forum there you go thats it. O and I ma also on a political debate forum called politicalshootout.com. |

If you drive fine and don't break the law then you will be just fine. I wouldn't say that anyone on here is saying that they profile certain vehicles as much as they where talking about if a "ricer" could out run a Crown Vic. |
