An off duty sgt. heading home Early this morning (5 AM) is approached by one of the local known shitbirds while stopped at an intersection right in front of the police station and asked him if he wanted to buy a brand new PS2 still in the box. Sarge declines, leaves and radios for the beat cars to check him out.

After a brief investigation it turns out the shitbird stole the wrapped present from under the Christmas tree at a friends house the night before. The gift was intended for a 13 year old boy and the gift was donated from a teacher at the school as part of a program for the less fortunate.

What an ass..... and a stupid one to boot!

Attleboro - A North Attleboro man was arrested this morning allegedly for stealing a Sony Play Station II computer system from under the Christmas tree of an acquaintance and then trying to sell it to an off duty police officer, police said.

Kenneth Kettell of 63 Commonwealth Ave., of the Attleboro falls section of North Attleboro was arrested around 5:15 a.m. by Officers Gilbert Bechtel and John Hynes near Gilbert Perry Square on Pleasant Street, police said.

The officers were dispatched to the area after police received a call from Sgt. James Keane, who was off duty and reported that a man was trying to sell the computer system at Pleasant and Union Streets.

According to police, Keane was stopped in his personal car while on his way home when the suspect knocked on his door window and offered to sell the Play Station.

A subsequent investigation revealed that the computer system was stolen from a North Main Street woman who is an acquaintance of the suspect., police said.

Kettell who denied stealing the computer system was charged with larceny of property valued at more than $250, according to police.

He was ordered held at the police station on $500 cash bail, pending arraignment today in Attleboro District Court.

Update....

The moron could not post bail..... Off to Dartmouth HOC for Christmas

Posted by: j809

We had a good one too a couple of months ago. Our dispatcher is at Cumberland Farms getting gas before coming in to work. He was wearing his department polo shirt(emroided with department) and a guy in the parking lot approachers him and asked if he wants to buy some marijuana. The kid shows our dispatcher the 1/4 lb bag full of weed. Our dispatcher calls the local pd in that town and the officers respond and arrests the kid in the parking lot as he is trying to make more sells. They got him with scales, baggies and lots of cash. What a dumb ass.

Update

Green Sheet, pled guilty time served. 6 months is better than nothing.

You're right, 6 months is better than nothing. Since many shitbirds don't get any time, I'll accept the 6 months over nothing.
