Very nice how they dedicate each training day to a fallen officer.

Looks like a very professional and squared away police academy. I wonder how many to/froms they have to write and books they have to read?

They must not have the "Intellectual" Academy Director that some of us had the pleasure of having!

Sorry Gil, Apparently my sarcasm was missed when referring to Director Banana Fingers.
As he would say, " That was up there!" holding his hand above his head.
By no means will I ever give that man a compliment.

Recruits Begin Their Training
On May 2, 2005 Class #42-05 began its thirty week training period at the Boston Police Academy. It started with 71 police recruits from five different agencies (Boston Police, Weymouth Police, Boston University Police, Massachusetts Environmental Police & the Middlesex County Sheriff's Department) and the numbers soon began to dwindle down. The recruits who remain know that they have a long road ahead of them, but they also know that their hard work & dedication will eventually pay off when they are finally sworn in to their respective departments. I never knew other P.Ds went the B.P.A I though the MPTC did nto recognize the B.P.A and vice versa.

The Boston Police Academy has been training other departments for years. They are independent, in that they are not a MPTC-run academy, but they are certified by them, in order to comply with the law;

Interesting, I have heard of housing Police going to the B.P.A but I was under the impression that had stopped and they only trained Boston cops. And for some reason I was under the impression that if went to the B.P.A the MPTC would not recognize the B.P.A and vice versa, guess I don't know shit bout shit.

Out of curiousity TexDep how does one sponsor themselves to the B.P.A do you need a town to sponsor ya or do they let wear B.P.D stuff while yo are in? Again I already went through I am just curious.
