You be the judge. A lawyer is a lawyer. Can't comment on a specific attorney, dont want a libel lawsuit. If a lawyer meets with you and discusses the case, gives you the options, and can actually remember who you are at court, I guess he's good. Some lawyers have a rep of arguing with the DA and the judge, though that might not help your case. I have read he likes to party, long as it isn't the night before your case I guess you're ok.

I'm afraid its too late to like him or not.. He recently was iinvolved in a close friends of mines case and i've been doing some investigating on him, and found out he's not all hes cracked up to be and this person is now serving a maximum sentence for a first offense ..

Caveat emptor.

I would not hire John Bosk to defend me in so much as a speeding ticket. I tell you that because I gigged him (not knowing who he was) and beat him at a judge's appeal many years ago when I had little experience on the job. His performance was, in my opinion, less than stellar. Oh, and truth is an absolute defense in a libel suit.

I believe he takes cases for the ACLU.

Its tough because now this person is sitting in a jail cell letting Mr. Bosk make his decsions for him, and he's about to take the bite for thousands and thousands of dollars.. so this person (being an immediate family member) doesnt know that i've been investigating this, not to persecute the man but just to open this other persons eyes.. I googled him and it seems to me like he's never won a case against anyone..

theres just something up with this man

No comment other then

Also, If I remember correctly, John Bosk is the reason why police can arrest drivers who refuse to get back in their cars for disorderly.

A word of advice....have your relative hire an appeals attorney and motion for a new trial on grounds of ineffective counsel. Soon as the judge sees who his lawyer was, he should win a new trial hands down. Get a Boston lawyer

Commonwealth v. Bosk, 29 Mass. App Ct. 901 (1991) Stopped by a trooper on 495 (in his funeral business hearse) for speeding, demanded to see radar, refused to reenter car, arrested. Upheld!! Win for the good guys!! He is "famous" in Central Massachusetts. Trust me!! Easy to spot in court......wears the same suit every day, has a pony tail and looks like a "duffle bag".

Tim Burke Esq, Needham...turned the trick for me...

I look forward to "dancing" with Att Bosk...I enjoy trashing lawyers...or liars, as they may be.
