Hello, i just have a few questions about the position. I sent an e-mail asking if i needed to have R/I academy or SSP academy certification for any of the above positions and Sarah Smith Office Manager for the town sent an e-mail saying that it was not required to have those certifications. Now i know for wellfleet it is required how come not here? Second question is what is the job like? Just standing in a parking lot for 8 hrs a day passing out parking passes or roving on the beach? I have never been to Orleans before so thats why i am asking..lol..thank you all for the cooperation.

Sounds like this could be for Nauset Beach, maybe the off-road portion. I believe Nauset Beach is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore and possibly falls under the National Park Service. I know they have police that patrol the beach in 4WD vehicles and ATV's.
