Anybody hear the MCOFU radio ad today?
With an apathetic public it will probably fall on deaf ears, but none-the-less it was good to see the union drop the gloves and take a swing....

On what channel, when was it? As a member I'm kinda pissed no one knew about it! At least at my joint.

I didn't hear anything about it either. And I'm very much into the Union. But it's good that they're doing something. Hopefully in time it will be on their website, I too would like to hear it.

Sometimes things happen so fast there isn't enough time to get the information out there.

I heard it on WRKO yesterday morning around 10:00am.

It stated (and I'm paraphrasing) "Dept of Corrections down 650 officers and the state wanted to cut another 300", "an officer was beaten almost to death", "high risk cell doors that wont lock properly and housed some of the states most violent offenders..." That kind of stuff. It was pretty well done.

Thanks Kozmo on stating some of what was said on the radio to the best of your recollection.

That's because you are too busying shotguning those Guiness Souts. Lay off the sauce and maybe you will be awake to hear it next time.

Hey MCOFU should spend a portion of it's time exposing the High Sheriff of Bristol County as well as DOC issues.
