The Patrol Officer patrols University buildings, grounds and adjacent areas; enforces the Commonwealth of Massachusetts laws and University regulations and projects an image of willing and helpful community service in the interest of campus security, crime prevention and the general well being. Valid Massachusetts vehicle operators license and certification of both American Red Cross or equivalent First Aid and CPR required as well as successful completion of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Police Academy and two years previous experience in police patrol techniques or equivalent (preferably in a University setting).
