The senate did voting for their health care bill that passed. However, there is a silver lining "The Senate's bill must still be merged with legislation passed by the House before Obama could sign a final bill in the new year." This could take a while. Its not a law yet.

    :-)

    and a safe new year.

with all our "new" arrivals flooding into Mass. it won't be long till they end up with us.

    job security i guess.

Massachusetts gained 3,614 residents in "domestic migration" in 2009, according to Census Bureau estimates.

It's the new year, I figured I'd ask the question. Has anyone heard any news about the next RTC?

Nothing that I would put any faith in. I was thinking however, that if the testing is not certified then the six month window can continue pretty much indefinitely. Is this a possibility or am I just pulling one from my 4th point of contact?

The rumor in the Dept. is that 307 will start soon in 2010. There have been too many retirements in the past few months and too many coming up for the state to ignore. Also, this class will be completely PAR 10.

This Par10 is such B.S. I am lucky enough to have gotten on several years ago, I truly feel bad for the honest hard working people who are trying to get on based on merit, not race. As long as we have Deval and Clarke, count on there being a Par.10 every other class until as par10 states, "those who have been previously disadvantaged" are made whole. Good luck........
